(M. Sutton) SDB 13” E Great contrast and color! Another one named by our youngest granddaughter who happened to be learning the Old MacDonald song at the time. Technically a violet iris but is sure gives off a purple impression with bright yellow-orange beards. 4 to 5 buds per stalk, very strong grower and bloomer with repeat bloom a month after the first blooms open in spring.
